I am Dr. Shaurya Mohan, and my journey in the realm of carbon capture, waste-to-bio-CNG conversion, and environmental sustainability is driven by an unwavering passion to transform the world we live in. My pursuit of a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering has been a deliberate choice to champion the cause of our planet.

My research experiences have been deeply rooted in addressing pressing environmental challenges. As a Research Scholar, my primary focus has been on developing an advanced absorbent for biogas upgradation. This visionary project, sponsored by the Centre for High Technology and supported by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited R&D, India aimed to create a superior absorbent capable of enhancing biogas quality. This is a critical step in promoting cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, and it has the potential to make a significant impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

One of my most significant achievements has been the development of an energy-efficient solvent for CO2 capture, which can be regenerated at lower temperatures, reducing both costs and energy consumption. This breakthrough innovation has the potential to revolutionize carbon capture in multiple Bio-CNG facilities, leading to a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to energy production. In my role as an Energy Efficiency Executive, I am dedicated to promoting sustainability and mitigating the impacts of climate change. I formulate strategies and initiatives to conserve energy, minimize environmental impact, and engage stakeholders to drive positive change. This is not just a job; it's a mission to create a more sustainable and eco-conscious future.

Beyond my professional work, I am actively involved in creating awareness among people about the importance of environmental sustainability. I have published articles that shed light on the urgent need for cleaner energy solutions and the significance of carbon capture in mitigating climate change. My expertise in technology development for energy production from waste has allowed me to become a strong advocate for eco-friendly practices and renewable energy sources.

My overarching goal is to ensure that every individual's basic needs are fulfilled. I firmly believe that technology and innovation hold the key to achieving this goal. By championing sustainable energy solutions and raising awareness about environmental issues, I aspire to empower communities and individuals to lead more environmentally conscious lives. My journey is a testament to the idea that determination, passion, and a commitment to sustainability can drive meaningful change and lead us to a world where everyone's basic needs are met and our planet is preserved for future generations.
