SUDAN

'Rapid  increases in population growth in Sudan lead to desertification, land  degradation, loss of biodiversity and habitat. Many States in Sudan face  challenges such as lack of drinking water, electricity, education and  unsuitable environments for living. I  work at a wildlife research centre in Sudan on my PhD in Dinder  National Park, on the behaviour of one of our large antelopes, the  Defassa waterbuck, and the effects of habitat alterations and  resources.'
